Terms of service
Who we are
Apexium Studio builds and hosts websites for UK businesses. These terms cover free previews, the one off purchase that takes a site live, the optional payment plan, and hosting. Accepting a quote means agreeing to them.
Previews
A preview is free, carries no obligation, and remains our property. We may withdraw or amend a preview at any time before you take a plan.
The price
Every site is priced individually and the exact price is given in writing with the preview. Once you accept it, that price does not increase. Anything unusual your site needs is itemised in the same written quote, never added afterwards.
Going live and ownership
On full payment we connect your domain and the site is yours: code, design and content, with a complete export available on request and 30 days of fixes for defects present at handover. Your first 12 months of hosting, security, backups and content edits are included in the price. After that, hosting with us is £9 a month, cancellable by either side with 30 days notice, or you can take the files elsewhere at no charge.
The payment plan
You can pay the quoted price in up to 12 monthly instalments, all falling within 12 months. The total payable is identical to the quoted cash price: no interest, no fees, and no charges of any kind. This is a simple instalment agreement between you and us, not third party finance. The site goes live at the first instalment; ownership transfers on the final one. If a payment fails we will ask for it again; we never add a charge for a failed or late payment. If the plan is cancelled part way, we refund or offset fairly and the site comes down, with your domain and content remaining yours.
What you may not do
You may not use a site we host for anything unlawful, or present our showcase material as your own work. We may suspend hosting for unlawful content, and will tell you why in writing when we do.
Liability
We are liable for what the law does not let us exclude, and otherwise our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for loss of profit or business interruption.
Changes
If we change these terms we will email subscribers at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not accept a change you can cancel before it applies.
